 | Beat together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg; beat well again. Add dry ingredients, gradually add milk and mix together. Add 1 cup blueberries. Stir into batter gently. Spread blueberries on bottom of greased dish. Sprinkle a little sugar over berries. Then pour 2 tbsp water over berries; spread batter over berries. Bake at 325F in Pyrex dish until golden brown. | ||

 | Cream sugar and butter together. Add molasses. Then dissolve baking soda in boiling water and add alternately with the dry ingredients of flour, cinnamon, cloves and cocoa. Stir in berries. Bake at 325F for 1 to 1 ½ hours. | ||
